In 1980 again the need for restoration of the chapel, with doubt in the air if you really needed a restoration or construction of a new existing on the site. The technical management of the works were made by architect D. Huelva Anadón Ricardo Frutos, which was to bring various projects and even came to call a public vote to choose the final design.
