How Long To Take Daktarin

Sense of the Easter Triduum

The second part of Holy Week consists of the Easter Triduum, which commemorates, step by step, the last events of Jesus' life developed in three days. The Triduum emerges as largest celebration of the feast of Passover, from their vigil, and includes all of the paschal mystery. Remember that the annual celebration of Easter is the second century.

The Triduum was originally formed by on Friday and Saturday as holy days of fasting, reading of the passion and watch, next to Easter Sunday. Later, between ages III and VIII was added on Thursday, which actually was the last day of Lent and the Triduum time to prepare. These three holy days are celebratory culmination of the entire liturgical year retreat in a community of believers and Christian principal moment of decision. Triduum understood as a vital time community must be prepared in advance. Rather, Lent is actually a retreat of forty days of preparation for the celebration of Easter. Recall that the Easter celebrations are not only venerable their seniority (second century), but also because they focus on the core of Christianity. Are almost straight, with amplitude, are related to each other and express the meaning of Christian life in community.

At Easter we celebrate the memorial of the liberation saving (transit of Jesus Christ from death to life), by which we remember the past, we confess the presence of God in the present and anticipate the future. Strictly speaking, the Passover of Christ is the way "of this world to the Father" (Jn 13.1). The whole life of Christ is an Easter "came from the Father and came into the world. Now I am leaving the world and going to the Father "(Jn 16.28). Jesus embodies in the world without losing his divine status. The return to the Father, through the resurrection, is an abandonment of the existence in the flesh to enter a new life in the Spirit. This is, ultimately, radical liberation, which is Easter. Thus, Easter is a process of social transformation and personal change. It is a process of liberation from all bondage and oppression.

Easter, or Paschal Triduum, is more than just a psychological reminder of the last days of Jesus or an anniversary of his death, is the Christian celebration, sacramental and community-the essence of Christianity (person, actions and words of Christ in transit); the most important assembly of Christian meetings and the connection of our time with the Easter event liberating rediscovery (always Sunday and especially year) of Christian identity, being and mission of the Church in the world.

Ultimately, this "memorial" Easter is a subversive memory, since Christ subverts the false values \u200b\u200bthat circulate in society, above all, that worships power, weapons and money, creating a partnership, a heart and a new town. It's ongoing commitment from the root of the righteousness of the kingdom, cause that Christ died for the salvation of all this justice is radically different from that, unfortunately, is effective in world. It's full life expectancy, total love and complete truth, based on Christ's triumph over the "hell" of human nature, sin and death and the idols of this world.

Holy Thursday

The Easter Triduum begins with the evening Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday, the day of reconciliation, the Eucharist and memory porch of passion. It celebrates what Jesus lived in the farewell dinner, "Every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes" (1 Cor 11:26). In one of the three days before communally held on Thursday may penance. After an introduction to the sense of reconciliation after the Triduum, sing something appropriate and a prayer. Two or three biblical readings help raise awareness through an examination community eventually made several people, according to the theme chosen for the review. You can enter a penitential gesture, such as on or off of some candles burning papers in a brazier, break a clay pot, etc. If the community is great, and as far as possible ", is divided into groups to raise awareness of sins. Then he asks forgiveness through some petitions prepared, if possible, it is also spontaneously and calling for reconciliation with a long silence. Then, individually or communally, it gives absolution. The embrace of peace and seal the final song.

to the seventh century, on Holy Thursday was a day of public sinners reconciliation, without traces of evening Eucharist. From the seventh century introduced two Masses on this day: the morning to bless the oils (necessary in the wake), and the evening, the memorial of the Lord's Supper. All the mystery of Holy Thursday and the Easter Triduum is contained in the words of John (13.1): "It was before Passover (Jewish). Jesus knew that he had come to spend time of this world to the Father (Passover of Christ); had loved his own (delivery, Holy Thursday) living in the midst of the world and loved to the end (death, Good Friday). They were having dinner (Eucharist, Christian Easter )»... In the Eucharist on Holy Thursday, the Church relives the last farewell dinner and celebrate Jesus' brotherly love by two gestures: one, testimonial (the washing), the other sacraments (the Eucharist). By Thursday evening mass now begins the Triduum. That's why it says that on Holy Thursday is "celebration of the Lord's Supper." All readings on this day evokes the delivery of Jesus, which meets the old rite of the ancient Easter (reading), offers his body instead of the lamb (2 nd reading) and proclaims the commandment of Service (Gospel). But at the same time, Jesus is betrayed by Judas and abandoned by the other disciples.

now, having declared Caritas Holy Thursday as a "day of brotherly love", both the institution of the Eucharist and the priesthood have been, so to speak, into the background. Only those involved in the liturgical mystery realize how involved this day.

The evening celebration requires preparation of the chapel or church. Should be given a special prominence to the table, which, ideally, should be large and be beautifully decorated. The monument can be done in a simple table with crockery, rustic type. Are at the center of the sanctuary the necessary utensils to the sink, water jug, bowl and towel. It started this celebration outside on a patio if possible, with special training to prepare us to begin. We went singing. Takes the celebration according to the official ritual. After the first reading (Ex 12) is prepared with a certain solemnity the table. An important symbol of the Holy Thursday washing of the feet, which would be good to participate as many of the faithful, and that was done in silence. A song of charity can precede or follow this gesture. Then we can give peace. Catechesis is adapted to children present on the sense of involving washing. In general, these moments can be heard in classical music, Gregorian chant or polyphony. Certainly, the washing of the feet is an act foreign to our culture, but has been passed by the trades of the day and it means a service that demands and requires humility. The "monument" may be at an appropriate site of the temple, where he held the "holy hour" ends on Thursday with a personal long prayer in silence.

The holy hour can be done either on Holy Thursday night, well on Friday morning. Prepare biblical texts, songs or music to be heard, religious literary fragments, concise news world, prayers of petition or thanksgiving, and brief personal review of life. Remember that the religious or liturgical language is directly addressed to God. As the biblical text, you can use the farewell speech of John (chapters 13-17), the "seven words" or the route of 'Via Crucis. " Experience tells us that personal prayer is one of the most important of the year. We also have the official prayer of the Hours.

Good Friday

Friday focuses on mystery of the cross, an instrument of torture and death (tree), but synonymous with redemption (tree). In fact the cross reflects the suffering of Christ, the love that overwhelms, and justice of God, next to the sin of mankind, present in the annihilation of Jesus by God. This day, formerly the Jewish way parasceve (preparation), is today "celebrating the Lord's Passion." Commemorate the victory over sin and death. Jesus died on Nisan 14, Jewish, that this year was Friday. The Church decided to commemorate the death of Christ on Friday and his resurrection on Sunday. The current celebration of Good Friday responds the ancient Christian liturgy of the word, such as Justin describes the year 150: Proclamation of the Word of God, followed by cheers, prayer meeting for the intentions of the community and parting blessing. The liturgy of the word, without the Eucharist, was common in Rome on Wednesday and Friday at the ninth hour, until the sixth century. On Good Friday was celebrated from the fourth century, a letter from the word of the day itself, with the current elements: readings, solemn prayers, adoration of the cross and communion.

The current celebration of Good Friday is austere: revolves around the sacrifice of the Lord. Is introduced through a catechesis celebration appropriate on the Passion narrative. Begins with an initial rite old, the prostration of the celebrant and his assistants in silence. The first lecture, entitled "Passion According to Isaiah," is the fourth song of the Servant of Yahweh, Jesus prophetically applied. In the second reading, the servant is the high priest that is for others. The gospel is the story of the Passion of San Juan, where the cross is the supreme revelation of God's love. Passion can be read from several, divided into five scenes: Garden of Olives, religious questioning, interrogation policy, crucifixion and burial. Sandwiched between scenes moments of prayer, song or music and reflection. A long text, like the Passion, is still better with it in hand and, of course, in a sitting position. At the time of the crucifixion can be nailed two large tables that are then cross. At the end of the Gospel reading, people have identified with the main characters of the Passion expressed loudly and directly to reflect updated. It begins by saying, for example, "I am Peter ',' I am the Magdalene", etc. Follows the universal prayer, the Roman form of the fifth century The solemn prayers and curses fit to be checked every year. After the cross is adored (one, not several) through the town, preceded by its glitz before the assembly: "Look at the tree of the cross on which hung the salvation of the world." The adoration of the cross is preceded by a proper admonition and reading the "Passion according to Isaiah." The act of worship is done spontaneously as each person you want, from kissing, hugging, inclination, kneeling, touching the tree, etc. Marriages can go together to worship the cross, if possible with their children. The insults evoke the mystery of the glorification of Jesus, who died wounded love and tenderness towards his people. The celebration concludes with communion preceded and followed by a communal and personal prayer.

For our people, Friday is a day of pain was expressed by two figures: the Nazarene and the Dolorous. The trades of the day are almost entirely displaced by the procession of popular Catholicism. Have declined the devotions of the "seven words" and the "via crucis" events held Thursday night at the monument.

The Vigil-Pascual

The Easter Vigil is the most important holiday of the year, the culmination of Holy Week and the axis of the whole Christian life, to the point of being called "mother of all vigils. " However, it is still far from being something important for our people, which is This, above all, in processions on Friday. For many of our faithful on Good Friday remains the decisive day. However, the resurrection of Jesus is a basic fact of the confession of faith, communication of new life and opening a new relationship with God. According to the present liturgy, Saturday is a day of meditation and rest, peace and rest, without mass or communion with the naked altar. The Easter Vigil oldest known is the third century. Around the year 215, according to the Tradition of Hippolytus, the baptism was held, with the Eucharist at the Easter Vigil. This is widespread in the fourth century. At the end of this century some churches introduced the skylight Easter, which eventually spread everywhere. From the twelfth century began to bless the fire.

With Saturday night begins the third day of the Triduum. According to the Missal, is a night of sailing. It consists of a long celebration of the word that ends with the Eucharist. Starts the event with a bonfire. At first, you can catch a "campfire" with joyful song and dance for children and adults about fire and burning things we reject, toy guns, media lies, drug syringes, etc. and begins the celebration with an admonition to make sense of the act, which has four parts:

a) liturgy of light

Develops night, outside the temple, around the candle, symbol of Christ, followed the baptized with its lights on. The skylight, or rite of fire and light, has its origins in the primitive Jewish and Christian practice of lighting a lamp at nightfall, with a blessing. The faithful, with the extinguished candles in hand, are the "exiles." With the fire lit the paschal candle and it lit candles bearing the faithful in this way, the procession enters the church, and prepared and lavishly decorated. The lighted candle evokes the resurrection of Christ. Inside the temple, proclaiming the Easter proclamation, singing of hope and triumph, its text should be its own each year. Within the festive cheers Exultet fit assembly.

b) The liturgy of the word

In this second part describes the history of salvation. Are critical readings of Genesis (creation), Exodus (deliverance from Egypt), Prophets (there will be a new release) and Gospel (proclamation of the resurrection). This part contains an introduction catechetical and several readings that tell the story of salvation, until the gospel. Readings interspersed with songs, prayers or short notice. Proclaimed the resurrection, we welcome, and can even sing merrily be a dance, distributed flowers and lighting flares up. Everything revolves around the Lord's Passover.

c) The liturgy of water

The third part celebrates the new birth. Especially when there is developed baptisms, especially adults. In the case of baptism of children, parents make the request, the president of the community responds, we call for the saints in the Litany, the water is blessed, calls upon the profession of faith and Christian commitments and was the baptism. Baptismal promises are renewed to be all standing with lighted candles through a dialogue that ends with the spray. A big applause signs the sacramental act.

d) Eucharistic liturgy

The Eucharist is the summit of the vigil. The newly baptized participate actively in the universal prayer, offerings and communion procession. After a suitable admonition, we proceed to formally prepare the table with flowers, candles and all kinds of offerings, a "offertory" in which children can participate also (it may even be a dance at the time of bringing the gifts). Anaphora should also be new each year. At the end of the party, after communion, ends with a festive gathering, which should not miss a single meal involving all attendees. The Easter Mass solemnly announced the death of Lord and proclaim his resurrection in the hope of his coming.

Easter Eucharist The Eucharist
Easter Sunday discussed the experience of the Triduum, and several participants of the witness to admit that his Christian life has been strengthened by these celebrations regenerative mode a "spiritual exercises" liturgical. The Easter event held in the Eucharist sacramentally, is not confined only to Christ and the Church, but is related to the world and history. The Eucharist Easter Easter is a promise of the universe, having served the entirety of justice demanded by the Kingdom. All are called to share the Lord's Passover, which took place in community, anticipating the reconciliation with God and universal brotherhood. Easter day of resurrection, Jesus ate with the disciples of Emmaus and the Eleven in the Cenacle. Meals are transitional between the resurrection and the coming of the Spirit. These foods express forgiveness to the disciples and the faith in the resurrection. Link pre-Easter Jesus' meal with the Eucharist. Called "break bread" with Lucas and "Lord's Supper" by Paul, was held at sunset, when the main meal. Had from the beginning a Eucharist (Lord's table) and charitable service (table of the poor). It celebrated the "first day of the week", with a rate closely guarded. This is how the Lord's Day celebration (Easter week), and shortly after the annual celebration of Easter.

Praise Jesus, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
