What Is The Shag Band Meanings

Advent: Come, Lord, do not delay you there!

Advent
The word Advent means "coming" and this coming referred, of course, Christ - the Lord comes, the Lord is coming.

Advent is a time when we prepare spiritually baptized to celebrate Christmas, which commemorates the first coming "of Jesus. But at the same time, Advent makes our attention and our hope is directed toward the second "coming of the Lord will happen, as He promised, at the end of time to consummate our redemption and salvation. We can say that our whole life is like an Advent-the time God gives us to prepare the final encounter with him is because just as Christ was born to bring us all to God, so we, as children of God, we called to collaborate with him to bring all people to Jesus.

Advent begins four Sundays before Christmas and is the liturgical cycle throughout the year leads us to live the mystery of our redemption - meditate on it, celebrate and transform our lives under the action of the Holy Spirit . During those four weeks the Church through the Sunday Mass readings, invited the faithful to deepen the mystery of the historical coming of the Lord and wait longingly the second coming of Christ in His glory and majesty. Here we propose a simple program to live Advent spiritual family.

Meditations for Advent

First week - Adopt an attitude of watchful waiting, which is beautiful because we know that salvation is near. Let us be diligent in personal prayer, family and community. Invite the Virgin Mary to teach us to wait upon the Lord. Let us pray the Rosary every day and if you do, it is with great fervor. Participate in Mass every Sunday with all my heart.

• Second week - Let us resolve by the conversion. Clean up inside to receive the Savior. There, where there has been no love, forgiveness, harmony, frat ernidad, we ask God to fill us with His love and give us the strength to recognize our sins and purify our hearts. Let us pray y. .. Go to the sacrament of Reconciliation!

• Third Week - Let's open our hearts to welcome with joy the Lord. Let us be joyful, overflowing with joy because Jesus comes to us, He comes to save. Banish all despair, let us renew our faith in the Lord's promises. Let us also pray and be diligent in reading the Word of God.

• Fourth Week - meditate on the mystery of the Virgin Mary to give birth to a son. Read daily a piece of the Gospel - the Annunciation, the journey to Bethlehem, the birth of our Savior ... We ask God to make life His Word so that Jesus can come to birth in our hearts. All the celebrations in which we participate as an extension of our spiritual preparation.

live as Advent and Christmas will be ours!

Only if we assume the birth of Jesus, our Savior, the only reason for joy, we can truly live and enjoy Christmas. Advent is a time of faith, hope and joy because God made man because He loves us so much that he decided to live among us and be one of us. The joy based on the presence of Christ among us will help us move forward, even in difficult times. The very presence of God can transform our lives if we let them. And it is precisely then that we must value our faith and hope, meaning they have in our lives. Thus, Advent is also time to put aside the concerns and put ourselves in God's hands, because despite any circumstance, any difficulty, if we have Jesus - we have it all!

ask God to teach us to love and give us discover the love in us and our family. Mary will join us and Joseph. And so attached to them, go out to meet others - that lonely neighbor, which is sick, the elderly, young people and children to find our way, to bring the good news: We have been born a Savior !
